Great movie coming your way this October...

Director of Laughing Gor is back with another spy-game action thriller,REBELLION. The notorious Eastern district of Hong Kong which is ruled by five triad gangs became uneasy in one night.  When one of the leaders is shot, his wife sent a member to find the culprit and bloodshed sprawls over.  Meanwhile, the police are looking for the right opportunity to strike. The battle between justice and darkness is about to begin.REBELLION hits the cinemas from 8 October.

 

Next is PANDORUM, a sci-fi action-thriller from the producer of Resident Evil films. Set in space, two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft and they can't remember anything. As they venture deeper and deeper, the spacecraft's shocking and deadly secrets come unraveled, they can only fear the unknown. Catch PANDORUM in cinemas this 15 October.

 

Don’t miss out on US No. 1 Box Office, THE TIME TRAVELLER’S WIFE, starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. The movie centers on a man (Eric Bana) with a time-traveling gene that causes him to unpredictably time-travel. How will his wife (Rachel McAdams) cope with his frequent absences and dangerous experiences? Can she live with a husband who is gone in a split second without any warning? THE TIME TRAVELLER’S WIFE opens in cinemas 29 October.

 

Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo re-team in another comedy, POKER KING, under the direction of Chan Hing Ka (La Brassiere and A Might Baby). The film is based on the popular game, Texas Hold’ Em Poker. In a championship match between the two, an heir to the casino (Louis Koo) and a rascal turn CEO (Lau Ching Wan), who is going to be thePOKER KING? In Cinemas 29 October.

 

On the International Screens, check out the fun comedy BEDSIDE DETECTIVE. A private detective who exposes affairs of unfaithful husbands breaks his own number rule when he falls in love with a target, Nampan. When he goes deeper into the case, he finds out that Nampan also has another wealthy admirer and the wife of her admirer plans to blackmail her. Though the case is risky, Jok decides to help her from danger. BEDSIDE DETECTIVE opens exclusively at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Pavilion KL & GSC 1 Utama from 1 October.
